Wedding Place Name Shells:-
Are your shells real?
Yes — each oyster is 100% natural and ethically sourced, from Welsh oyster farms and the Norfolk coast as part of the restaurant by-product industry.
Scallop shells are the bi product of the regulated food industry in the UK.
Can I order any names?
Absolutely. You can request any name, word, or phrase — including hyphenated names, foreign names, and table names.
Do the shells look identical?
No two shells are the same — this is part of their charm. Sizes, shapes, and textures vary slightly as each one is naturally formed.
How long does it take to make my order?
Most personalised orders are created within 7-10 days, wedding orders take 4 to 6 weeks. I you require them sooner please do not hesitate to get in touch Jacqueline@RibbonaireSands.com
Can I order a sample first?
Yes — you can order a single shell to check the colour, size, and writing style. Purchase through the relevant listing, this will be completed within a few days.

Once purchased, you’ll receive an instant download link and a template to edit using Canva.
Can you customise them for me?

Yes — all designs are sized for home printing or professional printing.
